250 feet of hose allows us to pump your tank from the driveway or the side of the road, preventing damage to your lawn or property. With our trained and experienced drivers, we can assure you that we will take the utmost care to respect your home and property.
Often times, we are able to service your system when no one is home. However, to ensure that all drains and or other issues you are experiencing in the system are resolved and working properly, it may be necessary for someone to be home at the time of pumping. Payment is required at the time of service and we accept cash, check, or credit cards.
Remember, there is no such thing as pumping your septic tank too often. In fact, many people do not get their tanks pumped enough. This often leads to the need of expensive, inconvenient, and unnecessary repairs.
*Although our services are available year-round, weather can be a factor.
Depending on the plumbing arrangement in the house, some tanks may be deeper than others (some up to 8’ deep) in which case, equipment will have to be brought in and risers installed. A riser is an extension that brings the cover closer to the ground’s surface, making it easier to locate and dig up each time the tank is pumped. For an additional digging fee, we will dig up the cover(s) to the tank, although most homeowners prefer to dig out these cover(s) themselves before we arrive.
It is the homeowner’s responsibility to know the exact location of their septic tank. In some cases, with the help of a probe, our expert technicians can often locate the tank. In other cases, a radio transmitter may be necessary. We use and recommend Dave Riley’s Drain Service for locating tanks, (740) 366-1756.
Generally, Septic tanks have three covers: an opening at the inlet of the tank, a center "clean-out" opening, and an opening at the outlet of the tank. However, some tanks have clean-out openings at either the inlet or outlet side. It is important to pump the tank through the proper openings. With that said, if the system contains two compartments, two covers must be exposed for pumping. We appreciate the trust you place in us to check the condition of your system. Any problems or concerns will be reported to you on your invoice.
